November 4TH - Second Question Continued Technology • Elementary Schools-4 sets of 25 Chromebooks combined $40,000 • Jr./Sr. High School-technology infrastructure expansion 15,000 • Jr./Sr. High School-replacement of computers in one computer lab 21,000 • Jr./Sr. High School-replacement of 30 laptops and one laptop cart 17,500 Sub-Total = $93,500 Total = $189,265 *Please note all Second Question items must be approved by the County Office prior to the election. The items that are put on a Second Question ballot cannot be a part of the Common Core State Standards in any way. Therefore, positions such as: a Math teacher, English teacher, Science teacher, Social Studies teacher, or an Elementary Core Content teacher cannot be placed on a Second Question ballot. There are very strict guidelines as to what can go on a Second Question ballot.

  3. WHAT IS THE RESULTING TAX IMPACT OF QUESTION 2? Additional $189,265 Increase in the General Fund Tax Levy from 2013-2014 $65.83 Yearly Increase on the Average Assessed Home* Monthly Cost - $5.49 Weekly Cost - $1.27 *The average assessed home is $284,943.00
