Objectives of this Experience • Solve centripetal acceleration and centripetal force problems • Show an understanding of centripetal acceleration of objects in circular motion and be able to apply Newton’s laws to such problems • Differentiate between angular speed and tangential speed • Differentiate between angular acceleration and tangential acceleration.

Objectives of this Experience(continued) • Discuss and apply Newton’s Law of Universal Gravitation. • Be able to analyze and apply Newton’s laws to simple harmonic motion. • Illuminate the relationship between frequency, period, and harmonics. • Explain quantitatively the conversion between kinetic and potential energy for things in motion.
