  5. Investment attraction Hunter Advantage Fund • 91 Projects Assisted with expected Investment of $430million & 2900 new & retained FTEs • Examples: • Ampcontrol (manufacturing) • Jetstar (aerospace) • Ulrich Aluminium (manufacturing) • $3 million additional funding announced 28/05/09

Investment attraction (cont.) • Volgren, will build state-of-the-art buses from new facilities in Tomago. 250 jobs. • Forgacs will build hull blocks for the Navy’s three Air Warfare Destroyers. 200 jobs and $10 million in investment. • Dungog Shire, I&I NSW and Hunter Water Corporation (HWC) have established a $500,000 fund to encourage new business investment and job creation in the Dungog LGA.
