  5. But sometimes, what the subject really IS becomes unclear. So we make up some art terms: Positive Space: is the subject matter. Negative Space: is everything else—empty.

  8. Sometimes Positive Space is made by leaving the space EMPTY.

  9. Sometimes The Negative Space Becomes Positive
