The Ultimate Thank You Gift • TEAMS: A NEW project manager should be selected for this task. • MISSION: Shop around for the best “thank you gift” for our 2013 Shark Tank judges. • CONSUMER: Shark Tank judges • A Lawyer • An Accountant • An Entrepreneur • A Finance Guy • Four (4) Parkway employees (teachers, administrators, etc.) • Budget: Your budget for the “thank you gift” is $100. Remember, you have eight (8) gifts to buy! Staying on budget is critical for this challenge!

  3. The Ultimate Thank You Gift • QUOTE AND MOCK-UP: One team’s gift will be selected for purchase. You need to show me a quote for the price and a mock-up of what we will be getting! • Design a 2-3 minute presentation about why your idea is the best and should be chosen: Use any medium you wish to convey this message, but remember, it must be compelling in order to successfully SELL your idea! • JUDGING: Holly Weber • Special Notes: Personalization is one key to success. Find a way to make your gift unique while speaking to your target audience (the Sharks)!

  4. Objectives • Create or find a unique thank you gift for our 2013 Shark Tank judges. • Stay on or under budget to successfully procure eight (8) of the gifts you select.

  7. New Groups Revealed! • Ian, Jessica, and Taylor– • Courtland, Tyler, and Darion– • Jordan, Stephanie, and Caylen– • I need new team names by the end of the block! Also, select a new project manager, por favor! (Due at the end of class, as well.)

  8. Brainstorming Session • Please work with your group for the rest of the class period and brainstorm for thank you gift ideas. By the end of the day, I need to know your new team name, new project manager, and any ideas or questions you have. • Project Due Date: Tuesday, Feb. 19th
