1. 1 Republic of Belarus Industrial complex of the Republic of Belarus is the basis of the of national economy. It forms more than 1/3 of GNP and more than 90 % of export. Industrial complex also is the major source of foreign currency. 25 percent of economically active population work at industrial enterprises. Industry is the most dynamically developing branches of Belarusian economy.

3. 3 Republic of Belarus Oil industry Belneftekhim consists of affiliated enterprises for crude oil exploration, refinery and transportation, oil products distribution, chemical and petrochemical production, scientific and building construction. Belneftekhim produces over 500 petrochemical and chemical goods: oil products, biofuel, mineral fertilizers, tires, chemical fibers and threads, low-density polyethylene, caprolactam, paintings, glass fibers, polyethylene and polypropylene pipes, detergents etc.

7. 7 The Ministry of Industry of the Republic of Belarus www.minprom.gov.by AUTOMOBILE CONSTRUCTION Automobile industry complex includes more than 35 enterprises, the biggest are “BelAZ” and “BelavtoMAZ” holdings. “MAZ” holding releases more than 500 modification of automotive vehicles, truck tractors, lorries with sides, dumping trucks, timber lorries, SUVs, chassis, and trailers and semi-trailers as well. “MAZ” has assembly factories in many countries of the world, supplies more than 50 countries of the world. Production of urban, suburban buses and coaches have been releasing in more than 100 modifications since 1995.

It has assembly factories abroad. The lineup of the plant there are trucks with the capacity from 9 to 350 h.p. During the years, the plant retains a 10 % stake of the world market of wheeled tractors, being in the top 10 the world's largest manufacturers. The market share of “MTW” holding in the Russian Federation and the CIS countries account for more than 80%.

It produces high-efficiency complexes on the basis of universal tractor for harvesting forage and grain crops and sugar beets; self-propelled combine and forage harvesters, tractor-drawn implements, mowers, seeders, tillage equipment and tractor trailers.

The range includes more than 100 models and modifications of special machines, which are operated in more than 30 countries. In the production program of the company effective road construction, utilities and snow removal, agricultural, forest, airfield-cleaning equipment, special equipment for the peat industry. Kozlova manufactures electrical equipment for virtually all industries. The main products of the plant are general-purpose power transformers and special-purpose with the capacity up to 1600 kVA and voltages up to 35 kV.The plant's products are successfully used not only in the CIS and Baltic States, but more than 25 foreign countries.
