Tackley All in One Project

The Tackley All-in-One Project began in Spring 2000 due to concerns over the village infrastructure. A core group focused on reviving local commerce, especially the village shop. Through questionnaires and public meetings, community involvement shaped the project's vision. Over 100 experts contributed advice to create a thriving hub offering basic groceries, fresh produce, and services like dry cleaning. Funding sources included local fundraising, grants, and loans. Now, the community shop celebrates its 8th birthday with a sustainable model, volunteer support, and active engagement through events, newsletters, and more.
