Progress and Future Plans of Landsat and Earth Observation Data Integration (WGISS-20)

In September 2005, WGISS-20 highlighted significant progress in the integration of Landsat MSS data and other Earth Observation (EO) datasets. With over 2,000 coverages, the efforts focus on enhancing data access, including Landsat 1-3 MSS, Landsat 4-5 MSS, ETM+, and various ASTER DEMs. Future plans involve adding more layers, refining the update process, and improving metadata retrieval. Upcoming events include presentations at ISPRS in Hangzhou and ASPRS/PECORA-16 in Sioux Falls, emphasizing collaboration and advancements in data accessibility.
