  2. Henry’s childhood • Henry Brown was a slave, he even didn’t know his birthday.

  3. Henry didn’t want to be a slave or didn’t want to die a slave.

  4. Henry’s master was very ill so his master gave him to his son.

  5. Henry met his true love Nancy months later he asked her to be his wife.

  6. Henry’s wife and kids were sold to the market.

  7. Henry didn’t want to be a slave anymore so he shipped himself to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

  8. He went through tumbling and pushing but finally got the place he wanted to go.
