UC Freshman Admission Requirements Subject Requirement -15 yearlong A-G courses with C grades or better Examination Requirement Scholarship Requirement 3.0 gpa (3.4 non-residents) or better in all a-g courses completed in 10th and 11th grades Additional grade points for grades of C or better in UC approved honors, AP, IB, and college courses Cap of four semesters in grade 10, total cap eight semesters total Complete SAT Reasoning Exam OR ACT Assessment + Writing *Class of 2011 only* 2 SAT Subject Exams (If Mathematics, Level 2 only) *Class of 2012 and beyond* SAT Subjects Exams will no longer be a UC admission requirement. Also provides research advising, including how to prepare for research and finding a research sponsor. We provide fellowships, internships, and opportunities to present research at our annual Undergraduate Research, Scholarship & Creative Activities Conference as well as publishing opportunities. We promote innovative teaching, research and performance centers, including our Genome Center, Bodega Marine Laboratory and Reserve, and our Tahoe Environmental Research Center We have more than 6,000 undergraduates who obtain internships through our Internship and Career Center each year.
