  1. Introduction • Service Wide Exam (SWE) Eligibility: • To be eligible for the SWE members must complete the below requirements prior to SWE Eligibility Date (SED) the given SWE Cycle * : • Complete the Rating Performance Qualifications RPQs, as prescribed in the applicable RPQ Standard • Pass the applicable Rating Advancement Test (RAT) • Complete all applicable core competencies/qualifications (these are advancement requirements and defined within the RPQ Standard for your rating and grade. • Must ensure RPQ completion and Core Competencies are entered into Training Management Tool (TMT) • Have RPQ Reviewer Certify completion within TMT • *Certification creates the Rating Competency within Direct Access (DA)* • Policy Guidance: • The Rating Competency must be present in DA in order for members to receive a SWE. • Members must complete RPQs prior to taking RAT. Completion of the RAT will be captured on the members SWE PDE by PPC. *There is no RAT sign-off required within TMT • Upon completing RPQ entries and CO approval in TMT, members will earn rating competency and be listed in both DA and CGBI as having completed the initial qualification.
