  2. Purpose The reason we are doing this project is to see which brand leaves the least kernels unpopped. Hypothesis We think that Orville Redenbacher will leave the least unpopped.

  3. Materials List • 3 bags of Orville Redenbacher • 3 bags of Clover Valley brand • 3 bags of Act2 brand • A microwave • A person to count • Pans • Computer • Paper • Recording sheet • Pencil

  4. Procedures • 1-Go to the storeand buy three brands of popcorn with three bags in each • 2-Take popcorn to school • 3-Find a microwave • 4-Cook one bag at a time • 5-Cook one bag of Oval Red Basher • 6-Cook one bag of clover valley • 7-Cook one bag of act 2 • 8- count the kernels one bag at a time • 9-record on recording sheet • 10-repeat step 3-9 two more times

  6. Our hypotheses was right Orville Redenbacher had the most kernels left in the bag we think that because it was a bigger bag so there was more popcorn if we were to do this experiment again we Conclusion

  7. Conclusion continued We would use a different microwave and three different brands of popcorn.

  8. Acknowledgements We would like to thank our parents for buying all the popcorn and letting us do the project and most of all Mrs. Bowman for all the help she gave us.
