Services Target Two Populations • Homelessness Prevention – Those at risk of homelessness with a lack of financial resources and support networks to obtain immediate housing or remain in existing housing • Rapid Re-Housing – Those recently homeless living in shelters, on the street or in places not meant for human habitation

  3. Forms of Financial Assistance Financial Assistance is provided in the form of: • Rental Assistance (including Arrears) • Security Deposits • Utility Assistance (including Arrears) • Moving Costs • Hotel / Motel Vouchers

  4. Greater Danbury HPRP Provider Agencies • Association of Religious Communities • Community Action Committee of Danbury

  5. Total Dollar Figures Allocated to Region: $411,264 for 3 Year Period Allocated for Financial Assistance Payments: $361,912 for 3 Year Period

  6. 1st Quarter Activities (10/1/09 – 12/31/09) • $30,159 Expended on Financial Assistance Payments • 43 Household Assisted with Financial Payments • 132 Total Customers Served
