A group of diseases affects in the whole body that results in too much sugar in the blood is called Diabetes. Diabetes also called Diabetes mellitus. Any Patients with high blood sugar will usually experience polyuria, they will become thirsty and hungry.

  1. Types of diabetes- Symptoms & Treatments A group of diseases affects in the whole body that results in too much sugar in the blood is called Diabetes. Diabetes also called Diabetes mellitus. Any Patients with high blood sugar will usually experience polyuria, they will become thirsty and hungry. Facts on Diabetes- Diabetes disease is a long time period that causes high blood sugar levels. Estimated that over 382 million people throughout the world had suffered from diabetes in 2013. Approximately 10% of all diabetes cases are type 1. Approximately 90% of all cases of diabetes worldwide are of this type. Gestational Diabetes – this type affects females during pregnancy. If you have Type 1 diabetes and follow a healthy eating plan, exercise, and take insulin, you can lead a normal life.

  2. Most common types of Diabetes- 1. Type 1 Diabetes- In type 1 Diabetes the body does not produce insulin. Some people may refer to this type as insulin-dependent diabetes, juvenile diabetes, or early-onset diabetes. People usually develop type 1 diabetes before their 40th year, often in early adulthood or teenage years. 2. Type 2 Diabetes- In type 2 Diabetes a chronic condition that affects the way the body processes blood sugar. Approximately 90% of all cases of diabetes worldwide are type 2. Some people may be able to control their type 2 diabetes symptoms by losing weight, following a healthy diet, doing exercise, and monitoring their blood glucose levels. 3. Prediabetes- In Prediabetes a condition in which blood sugar is high, but not high enough to be type 2 diabetes. Their blood glucose levels higher than normal, but not high enough to merit a diabetes diagnosis. The cells in the body are becoming resistant to insulin. 4. Gestational Diabetes- In Gestational Diabetes a form of high blood sugar affecting pregnant women. This type of Diabetes affects females during pregnancy. Some women have very high levels of glucose in their blood, and their bodies are unable to produce enough insulin to transport all of the glucose into their cells, resulting in progressively rising levels of glucose. Symptoms- Symptoms may develop rapidly in type 1 DM, while they usually develop much more slowly and may be subtle or absent in type 2 DM. Some symptoms point are given below-

  3. weight loss polyuria (increased urination), polydipsia (increased thirst) polyphagia (increased hunger). blurry vision a headache fatigue slow healing of cuts and itchy skin. Treatments- Treatment consists of self-care and Antidiabetic medications. Treatments include diet, exercise, medication, and insulin therapy. Some treatments are given below- Self-care- Physical exercise, Quitting smoking, Weight loss, Nutrition counseling, Diabetic diet, and Dietary fiber Medications- Anti-Diabetic medication, Blood Thinners, Statin, and Insulin Preventative- Influenza vaccine and Pneumococcal vaccine Specialists- Primary Care Provider (PCP), Ophthalmologist, Endocrinologist, and Nutritionist

  4. When you have seen the symptoms of Diabetes so you will early consult a doctor for medical help and take prescription drugs and recover your diabetes symptoms.
