  3. Forces of Flight LIFT The upward force that is created by the movement of air above and below a wing. Air flows faster above the wing and slower below the wing, creating a difference in pressure that tends to keep an airplane flying.

  4. Forces of Flight LIFT Increased air speed = Decreased air pressure Decreased air speed = Increased air pressure

  5. Forces of Flight The force that pulls all objects towards the earth. GRAvity

  6. Forces of Flight The force that moves a plane forward through the air. THRust

  7. Forces of Flight The air resistance that tends to slow the forward movement of an airplane. DRAG

  8. Forces of Flight LIFT 3 Object 3 is in flight. DRAG THRUST 1 2 Object 1 is at rest. GRAVITY Object 2 has moved but still controlled by gravity.

  22. Faith and Hope HOPE 3 Object 3 is in the liberty that Christ gives UNBELIEF FAITH 1 2 Object 1 has no peace or rest. DESPAIR Object 2 has moved but still controlled by despair.
