  8. Present Personal • Married for 20 years (2nd) • Active in boating, riding Harley Davidson, outdoor stuff, flying small planes • Love learning new material, new songs, etc. • Love God, family, work, and LIFE

  9. Past Personal (saga) • Born to an unwed mother in West Virginia • Mother married and had 8 other children • Step father was mean and did not believe women should go to school • I was very smart in school and neighbors wanted to pay my way through college • Step dad refused the offer

  10. Past Personal (saga) • Quit high school in 11th grade, got married and had 2 children • Divorced and worked 2 jobs to support family • At 35, Went on welfare to get funded for college • Graduated in 1981 with Electronics degree

  11. Past Personal (saga) • Relocated to Virginia from Ohio and left behind an abusive relationship (best thing I ever did) • Met a man who was my equal and married him. • Graduated from UOP in San Jose, CA 1994

  12. Professional Goals • Onwards and Upwards!!!! • Motivational Speaker • Develop and manage a Training Center for underprivileged women • Work with WV government to implement welfare-to-work programs • Work with WV Dept. of Ed. to help reduce the adult illiteracy rate
