  3. The Chippewa Tribe • The Chippewa is an amazing tribe! They lived in the areas which are now Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. The Chippewa ate nuts and fruit. Some Chippewa farmers harvested wild rice and corn. They used birch scrolls to pass down legends, stories, and myths. The Chippewa Tribe is an fabulous tribe! • www.ask.com

Cities: Lake Tahoe, population:16,057 Sugar Mountain, population:196 Banner Elk, population:1,093 Asheville, population:83,393 Almond City, population:444 Natural Resources: There are some mining centers such as Leadville, Cripple Creek, and Colo, etc. The region is rocky. Landforms: The mountain region is actually divided into two parts. One range is called the Cascade Range. It goes through Washington and Oregon. There are only two volcanoes in the range. Wildlife: Black bears, California Mule Deer, Big Horn Sheep,and Mountain Lions are found in this region.
