  4. Flexibility Next Absence Plan 1 • Plans allow for a two-tiered setup, including a higher level plan that can have multiple plan structures. The Plan set-up defines general characteristics of a plan, whereas the Plan Structures define the processing rules that apply to a group of employees. Flexibility Next Plan Structures are Plans Within a Plan 1 Plan Structures are tied to a single Lawson Employee Group and offer more flexibility in determining rules for accruing balances, eligibility or usage, and how limits are placed on balances.   6. Flexibility Next Employee Absence Plan Master 1 The Employee Absence Plan Master holds all critical absence and date information for an employee or an employee within a specific position. Note that you can override virtually any field.   7. Flexibility Next Allotment Adjustment Calculation 1 Allotments, a new feature of Absence Management, allow you to offer lump-sum balances for FTO or PTO plans.   11. Integration Next Pay Code 1 The Service Code ties to the Lawson Payroll pay code, but is now independent of the Lawson payroll application.   12. Automation Next Date Formula 1 Company holidays and the vacation accrual rate are managed in this interface. You can transfer them to a different plan, and you also have the option of overriding any specific areas, as needed.
