This curriculum framework aims to enhance knowledge of Judicial Independence (JI) as a foundational principle in legal education. Early in the course, students will explore the history, rationale, and dimensions of JI through guided pre-reading materials, including journal articles and case law. Interactive classroom discussions will engage students in problem scenarios that demonstrate the factors impacting JI. Assessments will include a test and an essay to develop critical analytical skills related to real-world applications of JI.
