  6. Some history - Data National Insulation Programme (1978 – 1990) Insulation Goal (62% existing stock): 800.000 private owned houses 1.700.000 owned by housing corporations Programme was terminated in 1988, due to budget cuts & fear for free riders. >> Concerning Energy & Climate

(National Government owners 11% of all office buildings in NL) Prove added value of EE to real estate, together with market and academia Stimulate real estate owners to renovate “bad labelled buildings” to a green label or (sustainable) demolishment & high efficient new buildings: avoid depreciation due to vacancy Support owners to make their portfolio more sustainable. >> Concerning Energy & Climate
