  1. Sango Elementary Monday, April 9, 2012 This week in Mrs. Harper and Mrs. Brumblay’s class, students will take the TCAP practice test and discuss the answers as a review. This will be done in the morning and afternoons each day. Reading – There is no reading story due to TCAP practice testing this week. Language Arts- Students will study prepositional phrases and interjections. Math/Science Students will complete TCAP practice and review. Students will finish their “Reporting Live” STEM challenge and video tape their forecast. Social Studies – Students will complete TCAP practice and review. Spelling – This weeks spelling words are digraphs with th, sh, ch, ph. The words are shovel, southern, northern, chapter, hyphen, chosen, establish, although, challenge, approach, astonish, python, shatter, ethnic, shiver, pharmacy, charity, china, attach, ostrich. The challenge words are: emphasis, sophomore, athlete, phenomenal, chimpanzee. We will have a test Friday. JUST A REMINDER… FIELD TRIP MONEY AND FORMS DUE THURSDAY, APRIL 12TH. Book Fair begins today. Mrs. Brumblay’s class will go on Friday during regular library time. Mrs. Harper’s class will go Thursday from 8:50-9:30. Night of the Arts/STEM showcase will be at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12th. This is when art will displayed, choir will perform, STEM challenges displayed and the drama club production. April 19th -5th Grade field trip to the Renaissance Center in Dickson, TN. April 19th C.C.’s pizza night. TCAP TESTING- April 24-27 from 9:00-12:00 May 2nd-Recycle team field trip to the Ronald McDonald House. May 4th-5th Grade field trip to the middle schools. May 17th -5th Grade promotion practice at Faith Outreach Church.
