  1. Room 211 has been learning about tolerance and acceptance. After reading about and discussing this topic, children were asked to imagine how they would demonstrate acceptance if a new child were to come to the Maquan School.

  2. If a new kid came to our school, I would show acceptance by inviting her over to my house.

  3. If a new kid came to our school, I would show acceptance by inviting her to play with me.

  4. If a new kid came to our school, I would show acceptance by playing a game with him.

  5. If a new kid came to our school, I would show acceptance by playing with her and asking her to come to my home.

  6. If a new kid came to our school, I would teach him or her some of our language and I would learn some of their language.

  7. If a new kid came to our school, I would show acceptance by being his friend. If he was in a wheelchair, I would help him around.

  8. If a new kid came to our school, I would show acceptance by being nice to her. I would help her if she got hurt.
