  4. AS I LAY DYING • ‘As I Lay Dying” has fifty-nine chapters with fifteen characters. • The Story is all about the death of Addie Burden. Addie Burden is the wife of a Mississippi hill farmer.

  5. AS I LAY DYING • Addie's favorite child is ,Jewel. Saves his mother's body from a flood and fire, and the thoughts of each of the Burdens are revealed. Most interesting is Daryl, the second oldest, in the family.

  6. AS I LAY DYING • As I lay dying was released in the 1930s and it was republished in 1987.The newer version is better than the old one.
