  1. Ethics and values

  2. AIR POLLUTION • Air quality reports and ozone alerts indicate that air pollution can have serious health consequences. • Primary cause: fossil fuels • Effects can be acid rain, structural damage to buildings and monuments, more diseases, animals in danger of extinction.

  3. As humans it can affect us by respiratory disease, lung cancer, heart disease, and damage the brain, nerves, liver or kidneys. • For children is getting really common that many of them are acquiring asthma.

  4. WATER SHORTAGES • Water scarcity involves water stress, water deficits, water shortage and water crisis • Water stress is the difficulty of obtaining sources of fresh water for use, because of depleting resources. • A water crisis is a situation where the available potable, unpolluted water within a region is less than that region's demand

  5. Theextintion of cleanwatermakespeopletodrink of dirtyone, and this cause manydiseases. • The United Nations states that by 2025, 1.9 billion people will be living in countries or regions with absolute water scarcity, and two-thirds of the world population could be under stress conditions

  6. Large parts of Africa suffer from economic water scarcity; developing water infrastructure in those areas could therefore help to reduce poverty. Critical conditions often arise for economically poor and politically weak communities living in already dry environment. • On countries like Sudan (12.3 million), Venezuela (5.0 m), Ethiopia (2.7 m) whose their population only consumption is contaminated.

  7. ACID RAIN • Human activities are the main cause of acid rain. Over the past few decades, humans have released so many different chemicals into the air that they have changed the mix of gases in the atmosphere. Power plants release the majority of sulfur dioxide and much of the nitrogen oxides when they burn fossil fuels, such as coal, to produce electricity. In addition, the exhaust from cars, trucks, and buses releases nitrogen oxides and sulfur dioxide into the air. These pollutants cause acid rain.

  8. DESTRUCTION OF ECOSYSTEMS AND ALTERED PSHYCOLOGICAL AND GENETIC PROCESS OF MAN • Energy produces manypollution so natural places starttodied. • Peoplegettoobsessedwithtechnology so whentheycant stand the idea of notbeingconectedtothe internet. • Thepeoplestartstobe so adictedtothe internet and theybecome so lazythattheyjustwanttocopy paste theirwork, thatsnotgoodforourprocess.

  9. ThermalInversion • Thermal inversion occurs when a layer of warm air settles over a layer of cooler air that lies near the ground. The warm air holds down the cool air and prevents pollutants from rising and scattering.
