  1. Agenda for Monday, 1/14 • There are two articles posted for today. They are titled as followed: • “How Writing By Hand Makes Kids Smarter” • “The Internet is Spying on You” • Carefully read the both articles, pausing along the way to check your thinking. • Answer the questions on the following page. Begin a new entry in your Daily Work file with today’s date, Monday, January 14. • If/when you finish, you can work on your independent reading novel and/or Reading Log pages.

Questions • Pick 1of the longer paragraphs to paraphrase into your own words, without losing the meaning. • Summarize the article in two sentences. • Write a 150-word response to this article that expresses your thoughts about the ideas presented in this article. We will be discussing tomorrow!
