  4. OAP Objectives • Develop, evaluate, and disseminate information and technologies for water users • Provide scientifically sound data/knowledge to water use planners and policymakers

Justifying $30 Million Investment • Science: Referred journals, invitations, awards • Impact: Tougher • Looking for a single sentence covering broad accomplishment with defendible impact • Examples: Scheduling irrigation by ET estimates decreases water applications by 4 inches per acre without affecting corn yields in the Texas Panhandle.
