  1. Agency Marketing & Development Roundtable OUR MISSION: To help ensure the continuity of a strong and vibrant Jewish community in Dallas, Israel and throughout the world.

  2. Federation Mission To help ensure the continuity of a strong and vibrant Jewish community in Dallas, Israel and throughout the world.

What Is Federated Giving? • A joint fundraising effort usually administered by a nonprofit 'umbrella' organization which in turn distributes contributed funds to several nonprofit agencies. • The Federation is part of a national Federation system led by Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA) which consists of 150 Federations around the country. You will find a Federation in and around most major cities.

What Is Federation? • Central coordinating fundraising agency for the Dallas Jewish community • One place where philanthropy, volunteerism and shared commitment come together to make a difference in the community and the world • With funds raised each year during the Annual Campaign (September 1-June 30) through: • community events • phone-a-thons • outreach campaigns • direct marketing • mailings • personal Jewish conversations • a network of 60+ organizations devoted to helping Jews enhance or rebuild their lives in Dallas and around the world is supported.

Supporter of Social safety nets ●Community gathering places ●Senior services Family and children’s programming ●Jewish day schools Jewish continuity & literacy ● Leadership DevelopmentYoung Adult Engagement Through our community-wide network of partner agencies, we support innovative solutions in order to feed, clothe, comfort and rescue people in need; we inspire, educate and connect people to their Jewish identity. Donations made each year to the Federation’s Annual Campaign help us distribute life-changing and life-enhancing dollars to agencies that address many of the causes important in our community: feeding the hungry; helping the unemployed; supporting families with special needs; funding Jewish education; the JCC and Israel experiences for young people; supporting the Jewish aged; Holocaust and tolerance education; preserving Jewish history; among others

  6. 2017-2019 Marketing Theme • Developed to provide a concise, relevant, modern way to communicate our campaign message • Evokes a strong statement of solidarity, community and connection around the Federation’s purpose and mission • By design, asks people to engage with us on social media by using the hashtag and assigning it to moments in their days, weeks, months and years of their lives where Federation impacts them
