  2. Unscramble the letters to figure out each ecology term.Each word starts with the letter that is underlined. 1. I C H E N 1. An organism’s job. 2. Where organisms live. 2. T B A T I H A 3.   5. Classroom Critter • At your station, take turns sharing your “Classroom Critters”. • Listen to each other and be sure to make positive comments! • After sharing, choose ONE critter to present to the class.

  8. Cut/Paste these items into your notebook: Page 25: “Energy Flow” sheet with questions 1-9. Keep the top part with your name and the grade! Page 27: Second half of “Energy Flow” questions. DO NOT FOLD/STAPLE!!! Trim both sheets so they fit your page.

  12. 2/8 Food Chains and Webs Decomposers: Def.: Organism that breaksdownwastes and dead matter and returns the nutrients to the ecosystem. ●Fungi and bacteria are decomposers.

  17. Things to Do: At your stations: • 1) Cut/Paste your notes into your notebook. • -“Food Chains” goes on page 25 • -“Decomposers” goes on page 27. • 2) Work with your team to complete page 26 in your notebook.

  18. Homework • Pages 25 and 27; 4 Qs each.

  19. Team Time Work with your team to fill out the information for the food web that you will be given.

  20. Homework • Cornell Notes Questions (6 total) • Summary of the notes at the bottom of page 37 in your notebook. • Paragraph (5 sentences) telling what you learned food chains, webs, and pyramids. • Paste your worksheet onto page 36.

  21. At the top of page 22, write the numbers 1-7 • Look at the diagram and answer the questions: 1- Who are the producers? 2-Who are the primary consumers? 3- Who are the secondary consumers? 4- Who are the tertiary consumers? 5- Who are the decomposers? 6- Write a food chain that includes 4 levels. 7- Identify a consumer who can be both primary and secondary level.
