  2. Arrive at school 9am, leave for Winmarleigh at 1pm. (Packed lunches in bag) • Come, with your suitcase, into the hall. • Give any medication to Mrs Lockwood or Mrs How – labelled • Arrive back at school about 3:30pm Friday 13THSeptember • Parents/Carers/Family Members to wait in the hall for the children before going home.

  4. A typical day… • 7:30am Get up • 8:00 Breakfast • 9:00 First Morning Activity • 10:30 Second Morning Activity • 12:30(ish!) Lunch • 1:30 Third Activity • 3:00 Fourth Activity • 5:30 Evening meal • 6:30 Evening Activity

  6. What should you bring? • ONE medium sized suitcase – you will need to be able to carry / wheel it

  7. Other items … • Disposable camera • Book, Sunglasses • Up to £10 to be handed to your child’s group leader in a wallet or purse with their name on (for the tuck shop and / or souvenirs) • Teddy

  8. Do NOT bring… • Electrical items (iPods, mobile phones, hairdryers, hair straighteners, hand held games consoles etc) • Any food, chocolate, sweets or drink • Aerosols

  9. Important Information • The school has a duty to ensure the safety and health of those taking part in or exposed to its activities, so far as it is reasonably practicable to do so. Therefore pupils whose behaviour falls below the standard to be reasonably expected, or their conduct compromises the safety and health of the group, individuals or themselves, can expect to be removed and transported back home, and Parents will be invoiced for costs incurred.

  10. Important Information • Gastric illness prior to the trip - Public Health England advise that travellers should not join a residential trip unless 48 hours free of any symptoms of gastric illness or sickness and diarrhoea. Parents should note that medical evidence of the illness would be required to claim a refund of trip costs.

  12. Summary • Arrive 9am Monday morning, packed lunches in plastic bag please • ONE Medium suitcase – you will need to be able to walk with it when we arrive • Medicines – labelled in a clear plastic bag • Don’t forget a travel sickness pill for both journeys if needed. • If your child uses blue inhalers, please put in 2 separate bags. One stays with the child, one stays with the teacher • Max £10 pocket money in a named purse / money bag • Lots of thin layers are better. Don’t forget gloves, hat and coat. • Put names on ALL clothes with permanent marker.
