  3. Priorities 1 and 2Speeding on the Fosse Way at Stretton-on Dunsmore and Princethorpe.During the last 3 months there have been substantial vehicle checks carried out at the localities highlighted.Several numbers of vehicles have been checked via speed gun operations during the 17 visits to the locations. We have also utilised the use of the Operational Task Force department who have carried out regular patrols. The A423 is an identified casualty reduction route and is periodically targeted throughout the year. Most recently it was targeted in Apr 10 when the focus has been on powered two wheeler enforcement. During Apr 10 is we recorded 44hrs of targeted patrol and 12 identified offences..

  4. Priority 3Anti-Social behaviour in the Dunchurch area.Patrols have been targeted in the Dunchurch area on several occasions. This has resulted in numerous stop checks of youth by both officers and PCSO’s. It was also placed onto the hotspot list for the PCSO who patrolled it on a regular basis. There is still an ongoing ASB action plan for the area which will cease in the near future. In the last 3 months there have been 8 reports of ASB within Dunchurch ranging from drunkenness to criminal damage.

  5. Good News Stories. As mentioned at a previous Forum a male had been arrested and charged with theft of a digger. The male has recently appeared at Crown Court and after a 3 day trial was unfortunately found NOT guilty. However, I do wish to praise the people of the village where the theft took place as they helped a great deal with the initial investigation.Officers and PCSO’s from the Rural Team have also been involved in recovery of yet another Cannabis factory. Although not within this locality, officers from the whole team were involved. It has led to the arrest and charge of a male for drug cultivation.

  6. Emerging trends and forthcoming plans. It is anticipated that there may well be an increase of alcohol related incidents in the near future, possibly due to the FIFA World Cup. It is with this that we recommend that we look at a priority of Alcohol related incidents locality. Specifically:Public House licensing visits.Regular off licence visits.Checks of local parks and football playing fields. There have also been a recent spate of caravan thefts which is being monitored.

  7. New Community priorities.?Any Questions?
