  5. Travel Approximate travel times Dover to Calais by ferry: 75 minutes Calais to the Ardèche: 12 hours by overnight coach Ardèche to Mimosa: 3 hours by coach In total 28 hours to destination

  10. When is it? • 26th May – 3 June 2016

  11. Departure details • Arrive at school at 7am • Receive t-shirt and hoody • Change in changing rooms • Place bags under coach and on coach • Leave 7.30am • Wave goodbye, settle down and relax.

  12. Traveling details • Ferry - DFDS seaways – 3.40pm – arrive in Calais at 7.20pm France time • Coach – York Pullmans • Arrive at accommodation 9am Friday 26th May

  13. Arriving home details • Leave Domaine de Segries – 7pm • Ferry – 7.40am • Arrive back at school – 2.10pm

  14. What to pack? On the coach Under the coach Bag with clothing in. • Pack up • Pillow • Sleeping bag • Toiletries • Small towel • No fizzy drinks • Medication • Spending money in Sterling

Can I contact my child when they are away? • For many children, part of the learning experience is about being away • from home, sometimes for the first time. • We would ask parents to allow their children to settle in and enjoy the experience. • In the event of needing to contact your child urgently, we will of course • organise this. We have a PE emergency number you can call this is: • 07936548785 • However please bear in mind that some of the areas are very remote therefore signal can be affected.
