City Teamwork Homeowners Organize your neighbors Provide point of contact Prepare your property Remove fences, gazebos, decks & other obstructions Assist volunteers and City Staff in construction of line of protection Maintain sandbag levee Pump Seepage Be aware of your personal safety Secure your Pets • Create a plan for protection • Secure sandbags • Coordinate the filling of sandbags • Deliver sandbags according to protection plan • Coordinate volunteers • Provide Engineering Staff for quality control of sandbag levee production • Provide staking • Patrol Levees after placement

Pump Checkout HOMEOWNERS SHOULD HAVE A WORKING PUMP • If that pump fails Pumps will be available for checkout at 402 23rd Street North • Bring ID with the address pump will be deployed to. • A full fuel can will be provided. Refuel is the responsibility of the individual checking out the pump. • Post flood any damages to the pump will be special assessed back to the individual checking out the pump!

Sandbag Filling Incentive Program • Incentives and Eligibility • $75.00 to a qualified organization that provides each 100 hours of sandbag-filling effort • 500 hours or more under this program will receive a $50.00 bonus.  • Eligibility-Qualified organizations will include non-profit corporations, 501(c)(3) organizations, civic or community organizations, high school teams, etc.
