Dunfermline Athletic season 09/10

2. Dunfermline vs. Arbroath What a way to start the season playing Arbroath. It was a great game. Dunfermline took the lead through Andy Kirk as you can see he is celebrating because his goal was an absolute stunner. From about 30 yards Andy Kirk belted the ball and somehow lobbed the keeper. In the second half Arbroath scored. I'm not sure who scored but a while later Stevie Bell scored a header from a corner. It was a great header.

3. Dumbarton vs. Dunfermline Another great day for the pars and jimmy McIntyre. As you can see Andy Kirk has scored. I’m not sure what the goals were like but I did know Dunfermline scored five on the day so come on ye pars!!!!!!

4. Dunfermline vs. Inverness This time it was not so great for the pars because we lost one nil. We had some great chances but just couldn't score. Andy Kirk hit the post. It was so close. In the last minute Inverness scored Davie Proctor scored a twice deflected on the way in free kick.

5. Morton vs. Dunfermline How about a win against Morton. How about a two nil win against Morton. Well we won this game from goals with Andy Kirk and Joe Cardle. Our first three points of the season. I bet you the goals were brilliant as always!!!!!

6. Dunfermline vs. Queen Of The South It was the alba cup second round with a los to Queen of the South 2-1. Joe Cardle scored the only goal for the Pars. At least we are still in the C.I.S cup. Who knows we might win the C.I.S cup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7. Dunfermline vs. Airdrie United WOO HOO we bet Airdrie United 2-0. With an own goal by an Airdrie trialist & Andy Kirk also scored for the Pars. The Airdrie O.G was a great goal. Joe Cardle crossed in the corner and the Airdrie trialist booted it in his own net with a big touch of the post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

8. Dunfermline vs. Raith Rovers Get in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We bet the Rovers 3-1. With goals from Andy Kirk & Andy Kirk plus Mark Campbell O.G. C.I.S cup through. Get in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Far to easy against the Rovers as usual. Weird Ali Yankovic is a better manager than the rovers manager. True story!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

9. Dunfermline vs. Raith Rovers This was not the best day for the pars. We lost 2-0 to are local rivals Raith Rovers. But it took some great goals to get past are keeper Greg Fleming. The scorers were Grant Murray & Gregory Tade. Gibson got sent of so that’s how they won. Weirdos are Rovers hmmmmm!!!!

10. Dundee vs. Dunfermline Not the best result for Dunfermline this time. A los 1-0 Isn't that bad. But we still lost. It was meant to be a close game but anyway atleast its not near the end of the season!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11. Partick Thistle vs. Dunfermline We lost this one to. 2-0 to Partick. Away from home. 3 thousand 2 hundred & 63 fans went to the game. No Goals for us in this game unfortunately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

12. Hearts vs. Dunfermline Out of the C.I.S cup. Lost 2-1 to Hearts. Are scorer was Graham Bayne. 1-0 up at one point. Then 2-1 down and that’s how it finished. Still we’re in the Scottish cup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

13. Dunfermline vs. Queen Of The South Nick Phinn scored in a disappointing game, a loss to QOS 4.1

14. Dunfermline vs. Ayr United We hammered Ayr united 3.1

15. Ross County vs. Dunfermline We couldn’t score against Ross County. Final score 0.0

16. Inverness vs. Dunfermline We drew with our bogey team Inverness 1.1. Why can’t we beat them????

17. Dunfermline vs. Morton We beat Morton 3.1. Davy Graham scored a rasper!!!

18. Dunfermline vs. Dundee It was my mascot day. We pulverised Dundee for 90 minutes. They injured Calum Woods who had to be taken off for treatment. A corner to the near post where he would have been resulted in a Dundee goal. (Same old Dundee…). Graham Bayne equalised in the 83 minute with a belting header. We were robbed blind, even Dick Turpin would be embarrassed to be a Dundee player that day.

19. Raith Rovers vs. Dunfermline We beat our local rivals 2.1. The atmospere was brilliant. Willie Gibson was immense!

20. Dunfermline vs. Partick Thistle Partick Thistle were beaten 3.1 by a team full of confidence and good football.

21. Queen of the South Vs. Dunfermline We beat QOS 2.1. We are now right back in the promotion race. Jimmy Macs barmy army!!!

22. Ayr United vs Dunfermline We lost 1.0. Oh no we really needed that!!

23. Dunfermline vs Ross County We drew with Ross county 3.3. How did they come away with a point? We need to stop giving away silly goals!

24. Dunfermline vs Inverness This game should never have been played, we tried to get to the game but the roads were so bad we had to turn back. Unfortunately 2 points dropped and the Caley army, er 1 man and his dog, march on. We will miss their massive support!!!

25. Dunfermline vs. Stenhousemuir It was birthday party today, and I misssed a 7.1 pumping of the Stenny. Unfortunately we played Callum Woods who was suspended and this result was as useful as in ice cream in a boiling hot oven!

26. Dundee vs. Dunfermline Theft in Dundee read the headline, however this was football and a 3.2 result was not what was needed.

27. Partick Thistle vs. Dunfermline Joe Cardle came on as a substitute and scored a hat trick in a 4.1 master class of football. It was the first time I had seen a Pars player do this!! Joe Joe super Joe!

28. Stenhousemuir vs. Dunfermline This was the first terraced groud I had been to. We won this replay 2.1 but I had to go home in extra time as it was a school night!!

29. Dunfermline vs. Celtic We lost this cup game 4.2. We were 2.1 up at one point. Kirk scored his first goal against the Tic. Robbie Keane “I’ve only wanted to play for Tottenham, er Liverpool sorry I mean Celtic”, made his scoring debut. We were unlucky but fortunately our players don’t treat us like idiots when their money dries up. Neither of us will win the cup this season.

30. Ross County vs. Dunfermline A 2.2 draw doesn’t describe how well we played in the first half, my dad said it was the best pars performance in years, how county were only 2.0 down at Half time is only known to David Blaine & George Osbourne, as it was both magic and jammy.

31. Dunfermline vs. Ayr United We lost 1.0. The legend that is Tam McManus score a goal, but what was amusing was Ross Campbells miss. Oh dear!

32. Morton vs. Dunfermline Gary Mason scored his first goal for the Pars this season. Its great to have the big man back where he belongs!!!!

33. Dunfermline vs. Airdrie United We won 2.0, but its too late I think to get promoted.

34. Airdrie united vs. Dunfermline Thank god for Willie Gibson, he mamages to score in a 1.1. draw with relegation candidates Airdrie. How ever a horrific tackle on Andy Kirk marrs the game and ends his season!

35. Dunfermline vs. Queen of the South We pump QOS in a 3.1 master class. The ref however sent off callum Woods for a solo move which if on dancing with ice would have made Jason give 6 points, but nearly cost us 3. Thankfully common sense ruled and his red card was over turned. Bring back Graham Pole as a referee.

36. Dunfermline vs. Raith Rovers We beat the Rovers 2.1 in the first of a double header. We just edged this but stevie Bell was sent of for a terrible tackle. Sorry rovers but you did nick 3 points early on in the season – its all quits now!

37. Raith Rovers vs. Dunfermline Hooray another 2.1 win, but this time fully desrved. Guess who got sent off, I can hear you laughing already – Steven “I’m too good for the Pars see you in the SPL Simmons”. The game should two things, we are the best team in Fife and now simmons new home support also thinks hes rubbish!!

38. Dunfermline vs. Partick Thistle Its was my friends Ruaridh & Joes mascot day. We should have won but lost 2.1. Oh dear gregg Fleming possibly the worst bit of goal keeping (before Robert greens World Cup). It did result in Flea getting dropped and our promotion hopes extinguished!!!

39. Queen of the South vs. Dunfermline We are now on a losing role – we lost 2.0. Mon Jimmy we are better than this, players have given up I think!!

40. Dunfermline vs. Dundee Horayy we beat Dundee for the first time in over 5 years. They were lucky it was only 2.1. Unfortunately Gregg Paterson breaks his leg in an accidental challenge. Poor guy he looks to be a good player!

41. Dunfermline vs. Ross County We lost 2.1 to County, they are far better than Celtic I am sure Lennon will look at this team properly or they will be out of the cup. How embarrassing would that be for the best “supporters” in the land!

42. Ayr United vs. Dunfermline Willie Gibson for Scotland. Real madrid have sent their scouts but he is standing firm – leave the Pars and the only club you can go to is down. 2.1 win!

43. Inverness vs. Dunfermline Two goals disallowed and the massive (er very small actually) Inverness fans movbed seats occasionally. McDougall leaves the park with a broken foot and Butchers men take all 3 points. How did they win the league when County, Thistle and ourselves are so much better. Good luck ICT, may your support double to 6 (er fans that is).

44. Dunfermline vs. Morton Second hattrick of the season. The most improved player in the team stevie bell ends a very good season. Final score 4.1. I got to release a balloon on the edge of the pitch. We got news the same day that Scott muir head had been released. The two stories are similar but not connectd.

45. Airdrie United Dunfermline Nick Phinn ends an enjoyable season with a 1.0 win. Jimmy mac has the team playing well in spells. We need a decent goalie and the centre halves need to be closer together. Another striker would help as would an arab billionaire investor.
