Classmate Evaluation on Oral Presentation METR215 November, 2010 • The 15-minute research presentation is assessed from five perspectives: clarity, significance, question-handling ability, length, and impressive degree • Clarity – Can you understand the presenter well? • Significance – After listening to the presentation, do you feel the project • important? • Question – Can the presenter handle the questions well? • Length – Does the presenter finish the presentation in 15 minutes, • with all needed materials included? • Overall impressive degree – Are you impressed? • In the table next page, assess each presentation for each category as 0 to 1: • 1 means yes, • 0 means no, • add all the five categories to give your total score Note: 1. This research presentation counts for 20% of the total grade of this course. 2. Student evaluations will be averaged and count for 50% of the evaluation. Dr. Jin’s assessment counts for 50%.
