Among the computer work related injuries the most common ones inculde: • MUSCLE WEAKNESS • HAND PROBLEMS • WRIST PROBLEMS • LOWER LUMBAR PAIN • SWELLING • TENSION • HEADACHES • NECK STRAINS • EYE STRAINS • SHOULDER PAINS • ARM PAINS All of these are have been document through the Better Health Channel.

  3. All of the injuries that have been listed are documented in people that have desk jobs. Also people that spend most of there daily job task on the computer. To inquire these injuries is just as easy as avoiding these injuries.

There are ways to prevent getting one of these computer related injuries include: • Ergonomic chair • Ergonomic keyboard • Taking breaks • Avoiding long stretches of computer related task • Body stretches • Switching between task • Placing feet flat on the floor • Typing techniques • Comfortable keyboard and mouse position • Move hands off keyboard when your not typing • Move entire arm when using the mouse • Proper posture • Foot stool if necessary

  5. All of these injuries can be avoided with a little workstation changes. Make the workstation comfortable so that you can be comfortable. By doing all these change you can you can reduce or even eliminate you chance of acquiring any injuries. So take Team A.D.S. advice and think twice and make yourself comfortable. In conclusion
