Polio Eradication Initiative National Surveillance Cell, Federal EPI AFP Surveillance Update 2010[1] Polio Plus Overall case count of 2010: Total number of confirmed polio cases (as on 23rd of January, 2010) = 02 01 type-1 case from Bajour (FATA) and 01 type-3 case from Quetta district of Balochistan province. Overall case count of 2009: Total number of confirmed polio cases (as on 23rd of January, 2010) = 89 60 type-1 cases (16 from Punjab, 7 from Sindh, 8 from FATA, 24 from NWFP & 5 from Balochistan) 28 type-3 cases (11 from FATA, 5 from NWFP, 5 from Sindh, 1 from Punjab & 6 from Balochistan) 1 mixture of type-1 and type-3 from Bajour Agency in FATA.
