  3. Italian Nazional Fire Corps The italiannationalFireCorpsis part of the Department that depends on the Ministry of the Interiors. The Department of firefighters, public rescue and civil defense (DipartimentodeiVigili del Fuoco, del SoccorsoPubblico e dellaDifesaCivile) is composed by eight central directorates, eighteen regional offices and one hundred provincial commands, with around eight hundred stations throughout the country

Italian Nazional Fire Corps The italiannationalFireCorpsinitially fragmented in various municipal bodies, was established as such by the Royal Decree of 27 February 1939, later converted into Law 1570 of December 27, 1941, and was initially called "to protect the personal safety and the salvation of things, by preventing and extinguishing fires and the provision of technical services in general, including those related to air defense.“ .

The rapid response, expertise and experience gained from previous activities of civil protection are essential for the relief of people affected by natural disasters or major disaster.

  10. Italian Nazional Fire Corps The National Fire Corps has been working alongside with the children since 1989, when it received the appointment of "goodwill ambassador" from the Italian Committee for UNICEF.

There is a complete practicality between each Provincial Department since they are part of the same Organitation with same standards, same comunication, same training, same equipment.

Italian Nazional Fire Corps Centralschools(“Scuole Centrali Antincendi”, “Scuola di Formazione Operativa” and “Istituto Superiore Antincendi”) ensureadmittance training, ongoingupdates and specializationfor the whole staff. In particular training courses are dedicatedtooperators, administrativepersonnel and technical staff; specializationcourses are providedfordivers, portpersonnel, helicopterpilots, radio repairmen. Also, schools are responsiblefor training firefightingunits in armedforces and authorizedgovernmentagencies

National Fire Corps are territorially in charge of training courses for which, under specific provisions of law, are the authorized trainer for the following figures: workers in charge of fire prevention, firefighting measures and staff evacuation procedures; fire officers in industrial production plants; prevention and protection service authorities; employers; safety workers’ representatives;
