Surveillance Guide Basics • Published – Originally 4/04 with minor 10/04 update of format only • Purpose: Provide implementation guidance for planning, conducting, and follow-through of EVM surveillance. Responsible organizational aspects are also addressed. • Applicability: Program or Project level surveillance. System level surveillance is addressed as the summation of program surveillance. • Team: Cross Industry and Government team with extensive surveillance experience.

  3. Surveillance Guide General Comments • Successful practices and lessons learned embedded throughout • Gave alternatives where applicable • Included recommendations on summary metrics • Stayed at medium level of guidance
