It is VBPL’s endeavoured to assure product quality through all stages of development and in all manufacturing processes. That the company works to international standards of quality is borne out by the fact that it has adopted ISO/TS 16949:2002 Procedures. • The focus at VBPL is on defect prevention. The use of statistical techniques to qualitify process capability and to facilitate continuous quality improvement is the means by which defect prevention is achieved. The Quality Assurance at VBPL is maintained by Periodic tests during the various manufacturing processes: • These tests are undertaken by production personnel and quality assurance personnel in accordance with established test procedures. Based on these results, the manufacturing process can be controlled. Additionally each finished batch undergoes a final test before the lot is released. Through these Quality Assurance measures VBPL guarantees a high quality and reliability of its products.
