To evaluate learning objectives based on this criteria and think about why good learning objectives are important. To know how to backwards plan a lesson, based on a learning objective and an outcome.   3. 1. Success criteria for a good learning objective. • Think: Read the success criteria, and underline anything that stands our as particularly important. • Pair: Discuss with a partner: What do you notice about the success criteria? • Share: Feedback to the group.

  7. Backwards Planning • Peer teaching: • Person 1: Begin with the End • Person 2: Double plan • Task: • Re-write your material, using a maximum of 20 words, • Share the 20 words with your partner, and then ask them to explain the technique in their own words, • Swap and repeat.
