Ramp Metering Benefits • Before/After Studies conducted for new locations (in coordination w/Region 6) • I-25 Southbound (104th Avenue to 84th Avenue) • Nearly two minutes reduction in travel time (~20%) • Average speed increased by nearly 9 mph (~31 %) • C-470 Westbound (Bowles Avenue to Quincy Avenue) • Nearly 30 seconds reduction in travel time (~10%) • Average speed increased by nearly 7 mph (~13%) • Throughput increased by nearly 900 vehicles (~8 %) 12
