  4. Duties Continued • The President with the approval of the Senate, also appoints: • Heads of Departments • Federal Court Judges • He or She also makes treaties with other countries • Most important job: To make sure that the laws of our country are faithfully executed.

  5. Presidential Salary • Today it is 400,000 dollars and an 100,000 nontaxable travel allowance per year • Other Benefits: Air Force One, Free Medical, Dental, and health care while in office. • They live in the White House which:
