  2. AllAboutColin Powell’s Life Have you ever heard of Colin Powell? Colin Powell was born on April 5, 1957 in Harlem, New York. Colin’s dad’s name is Luther Powell and moms is Maud Powell. Powell did not like to go to school as a kid he liked to play with his friends instead. Then he started going to the City College of New York. After that he earned his bachelors' degree in geology. After that he started going to George Washington Univ. As you can see, that is Colin’s life growing up.

  3. Goals and Accomplishments Do you Know Colin Powell’s accomplishments? Some accomplishments are he joined the military at the age of 17. After that he became a general of the United States Army. Two years later Colin was put in charge of the United States Military. Then he left because he wanted to spend more time with his family. In 2001 Colin was asked to be Secretary of State. Overall, these are the accomplishments that made Colin Powell who he is.

Colin also had a kid named Michael Powell, he was a chairman of the U.S federal communication commission from 2001-2005. Colin also had an important role of planning the American invasion of Panama in late 1989. Powell was Secretary of State when George W. Bush was president. He got military awards like the Defense Distinguished service medal. In conclusion, those are interesting facts about Colin Powell.
