  2. How to Submit a Work Request to Facilities Operations Navigate to www.fo.ucf.edu Click on “UCF Work Order System Sprocket” button

  3. If this is your first time using this system click the “create user & password” If you are already registered click “Go directly to the Sprocket Work Order System here.”

  4. Follow the instructions on this page to register with Sprocket. After you click Register you will receive an email from the system and you will be ready to log in. NOTE: This change was made to enhance security to the system for submitters.

  5. Enter your login and password and click the login button.

  6. This is the Information Screen. Read the information in the RSS Reader box. This will be updated from time to time with new improvement or changes to the system. To Submit a Work Request click on “New Work Order Tab.

  7. Step 1: Select Request from the drop down menu (note: for most web users this is the only option in the menu) Click on the magnifying glass next to the Request Code Box

  8. You will see a list of request codes. Select the one that best describes the issue and double click on it.

  9. Type in your contact phone number. If there is an additional person you want notified about the progress of this work request, fill in their name and email address here. Next, click on the magnifying glass next to the location box. This box will drop down. Click the + next to UCF: Building Master Location.

  10. Click on the + next to the area your building is in. For example College of Medicine would be in the Off Campus area (Also labeled Satellite Campuses for some users)

  11. Click on the + sign next to the Building. In this example it would be 1002 – College of Medicine Next click on the + sign next to the floor the work is on. In this example the 2nd floor

  12. Now click on the room the work is in. For this example Room 204B

  13. This will take you back to the New Work Order Screen. Enter the account number. Residents do not need to enter an account number. In the comments section give as much information as possible about the problem to assist the Maintenance personnel performing the repair. After filling in the comments click the save work order button

  14. This box will pop up giving you the Work Order Identifier (number) If you are done click “ Close and Clear. If you have more work orders to request click on “Clear and New” You can also go to My Requests. This is a list of all the requests you have submitted.
