  1. Abby G.’s Flat Stanley Visited Great Uncle Bob He had some great adventures with Uncle Bob and Molly the Wonder Dog!

  2. Abby G. Sent me (Flat Stanley) through the mail to her great uncle Bob, who lives in the center of the universe: Kalamazoo, Michigan!

  3. I’m a little nervous! I wonder what I will do here with Uncle Bob! I was nervous that I wouldn’t have anything exciting to do or that I wouldn’t meet any new friends since I’m from the Chicago area and didn’t know anything about this city in Michigan. It is about 150 miles from Chicago!

  4. What a great surprise that I had so much to do, and now I have a great friend in Molly the Wonder Dog who is the smartest dog in the whole world! • In fact, she barks in 10 languages, and, of course, I do too now that we have becoome best friends. • There are other people who may think that their dog is smart, but none of them is as smart as MOLLY THE WONDER DOG. • Look on the next page for some pictures of me with Molly……

  6. It’s Fall here in Michigan and all the leaves are falling. • Great Uncle Bob asked me to help him rake up the leaves since it’s so much fun. • In fact, it’s so much fun that he let me have all the fun by raking them up for him. • As you can see, the leaves are as big as me!

  7. There are still some beautiful flowers blooming here in michigan! I had to get a better look at them! They smelled pretty and the bees are gone now so that I didn’t have to worry about getting stung.

  8. I also helped fill up the bird feeders so that all the birds have enough food for the winter.

  9. Of course, being a flat Catholic, I went to Mass with Abby’s Great Uncle. • I tried out for the Altar Boy job, but I was told to come back when I got taller.

  10. After doing all the fun things around Uncle Bob’s house, it was time for a road trip to another exciting adventure! • Of course, he let me drive, and he let me buy the gas for his car. This was fun since I’ve never had a credit card before! But Abby’s mom will be surprised at how cheap gas is up here in Michigan since we used her credit card!

  11. Our surprise trip was to go to a Notre dame football game at the university of Notre dame in South Bend,Indiana! Unfortunately, the bad guys won, but we did lots of exciting things!

  12. I met a real live leprechaun and helped him cook hot dogs and hamburgers….

  13. Then I had my picture taken near the statue of Moses. He’s some guy from the Bible, and he me that I was NUMBER ONE! • Moses is really tall. I think he’d make a good Altar Boy.

  14. Of course I had my picture taken in front of “touchdown Jesus”, who is even taller than Moses. He’s in the bible too in case you didn’t know!

  15. I got to meet one of the famous IRISH GUARDS and he definitely could be an Altar Boy---and maybe he was when he was my age! He was a nice guy and he told me to be sure to get my picture taken in front of the GOLDEN DOME!

  16. We went into the stadium and saw the band play and saw the game, where the bad guys won. • Then we drove back to Uncle Bob’s home (did I tell you that Kalamazoo is the center of the universe?).

  17. Before going home to Abby, I posed with a picture of my other cousins, Samantha, paige and Duncan. They are too short to be Altar servers too, but I think they will grow taller than me!

  18. I will be jumping into an envelope and traveling back to abby’s house, but I had a great time in michigan and at the football game. I will have to give abby a big hug for sending me to kalamazoo so that I could meet the smartest dog in the world and do all the other neat things!Sincerely.Flat Stanley, friend of molly the wonder dog
