Required Credits23 Total • English – 4 credits (including 9th & American Lit) • Mathematics – 4 credits (including Math 1 & 2) • Science – 4 credits (including Biology, Physics & Chemistry/Environmental Science) • Social Studies – 3 credits (including World, US & Econ/Govt) • Health/Personal Fitness • 7 Electives (including at least 3 Career Tech or Arts) • + 2 of same foreign language for 4-year college admission

  3. Georgia High School Graduation Test • You must pass All 5 Sections of the Georgia High School Graduation Test to earn a diploma. • Minimum Passing Scores: Writing: 200 Language Arts: 200 Mathematics:200 Science: 200 Social Studies:200

  4. Graduation • You must pass ALL COURSES AND TESTSrequired for graduation in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. • NO EXCEPTIONS.

  5. What Can I do after high School? • Job Right Out of High School • Military • Certificate Program (Tech School) • 2-Year Associate’s Degree • (Tech or Community College) • 4 Year Bachelor’s Degree (University) • Professional Degree (Graduate School)
