A M Summer School MCD 2010 June 27 July 9 The 10th MCDA Summer School, Ecole Centrale Paris, June 27th - July 9th, 2010http://www.gi.ecp.fr/mcda-ss Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) Decision problem often requires to explicitly consider several points of view. Classical optimisation approaches consider only a single objective. MCDA takes explicitly into consideration several attributes/criteria. MCDA preference modeling have been successfully applied in the framework of MCDA. The scientific aspects and the practical applications have attracted numerous researchers and practitioners, stimulating theoretical and methodological developments, as well as real life applications and software implementation. Goals of the MCDA Summer School Give to doctoral students/young researchers a state of the art on multiple criteria methods, applications and software. The objectives are:  to provide an efficient approach of real life decision problems,  to present recent developments in MCDA methods,  to present software developments. Welcoming institution  Ecole Centrale Paris, LGI (Industrial Engineering Laboratory) Supporting organizations  International MCDM Society,  Euro Working Group "Multiple Criteria Decision Aid" Scientific Committee :  V. Mousseau (chair),  D. Bouyssou, M. Özturk, A. Tsoukiàs Fee : 300€ (including lectures, accomodation, lunches and social program) Target audience (~40 participants)  Doctoral students/young researchers, Professionals (managers in industry/government, consultants). Language : English (no simultaneous translation).
