  2. The Curse of the Goat • Chicago bar owner and die-hard Cubs fan, Vasili “Billy Goat” Sianis had two tickets for game 4 of the 1945 World Series • Decided to use second ticked to take his pet goat to the game • Ushers at Wrigley Field would not allow the goat’s entrance

  3. On his way out of Wrigley Field, Sianis placed curse on Cubs that they would never win another pennant nor would the World Series be played at Wrigley Field again • Cubs lost game 4 and eventually the 1945 World Series • Cubs have not won a World Series since • Many attemps have been made to break the curse, but none have worked
