  1. OUR FOUNDER OF JHANKAAR MUSIC ACADMY MR.C.BANERJEE Mr. C. Banerjee fondly called Dada in West Bengal and the large Indian musical community founded Jhankaar with the sole aim of transforming lives through the passion called music. BIOGRAPHY In the year 1956, he was born into a family where music was devotion. His mother Shri Geeta Banerjee was well known as the best Indian classical singer in Kolkata who dazzled everyone with Rabindranath Tagore’s poems and songs through her voice. This inspired Mr. C. Banerjee to take music as a profession and the passion drove him to start his career as an accordion player. He later mastered Piano & Keyboard as his core instruments and performed at more than 200 LIVE shows which include many solo performances. He also had a remarkable career as a music arranger and director for several short films, Ad films and even launched his own band with the name Black Diamond Orchestra. It was one of the most popular bands in Delhi between the years 1990 to 1997. During the same phase, he travelled across 13 countries performing western and Indian music and entertaining thousands. He got married to West Bengal’s most popular singer and performer, Mridula Banerjee who rocked Tollywood when she first arrived. Since the foundation of Jhankaar, she has been very active and has created music courses for students who want to get excellent vocal training. While her specialization is in classical music, she values the change modern music has brought.

  2. Learn from the master himself who has more than 200 LIVE shows to his name. From experience, he knows what it takes to perform and succeed at the biggest stage. His only goal is to pass on this art to the next generation.
