  4. What’s Not Impacted – Desktop Versions Desktop Versions of applications will still be available • Use new login – StarID@minnstate.edu • Desktop versions of Office on up to 5 PCs or Macs per use

What is Changing • Employees and Emeriti: • Email login will change to StarID@minnstate.edu • Email address will not change.Note: New employee emails provisioned after August 9 will follow updated format: Jane.Doe.2@stcloudstate.edu. • Students: • Email login will change to StarID@go.minnstate.edu • Email address will change to email@go.stcloudstate.eduNote: Students will retain their previous email (ex: jdoe@stcloudstate.edu) an alias to receive email from.Note: New student emails provisioned after August 9 will follow updated format: Jane.Doe.2@go.stcloudstate.edu.

During the Transition • What services will be unavailable • Email  • OneDrive • Custom office settings • You won't be able log into your O365 account anywhere and access any O365 applications • If you need to work on a file over the weekend, save it locally or on flashdrive • HuskyTech support hours • Sunday August 11th, 10 am - 6 pm  • Call center and circulation desk

  12. Calendar • Block off your calendar for the morning of Aug. 12 to complete necessary tasks • Calendar invite will be sent to campus as a placeholder • Add to calendar (.ics)

  13. Checklist • Login to your computer with StarID (no change) • Login to https://office.com with StarID@minnstate.edu • Follow the provided checklist to complete setup of new email account and other Office 365 services: • https://www.stcloudstate.edu/its/office-365/post-transition.aspx

  14. Office 365 Sign in prompt Instead of email address or phone number, use your StarID@minnstate.edu and StarID password. Employees: StarID@minnstate.edu Students: StarID@go.minnstate.edu
